Wordpress launched paid newsletter functionality. In December, Wordpress first launched its newsletter product which let writers run newsletters using the Wordpress platform. The new functionality lets writers add paid subscriptions and paywalled content, and can be used by all Wordpress blogs ✍️
While Wordpress’ newsletter won’t have the bells and whistles of Substack, it offers creators more flexibility to operate a newsletter as part of a broader platform (such as including web content and running a store) 🕸️
